The Summer Volleyball league is a time for you to get your High School Volleyball season off to a great start. The Summer League will have 2 levels of Competition, Varsity and Junior Varsity leagues.
The purpose of this league is to provide competition and maximize playing time for teams to work together prior to the fall volleyball season. Teams are provided an opportunity to work with different line ups, integrate new players and systems.
The Summer League will be played on Monday or Tuesday nights beginning the week of July 1st and run for 4 weeks through July. Each team will play 2 matches (2 sets to 25 points) each week. Games will begin at 6:00pm, approximately 7:00pm and 8:00pm. Teams are responsible for their own scorekeeping and officiating.
General Information
Uniforms – Will not be required, but a jersey with a number on it is strongly suggested.
Officials – Each team will collaborate with who they are playing to keep score and officiate.
Scorekeeping – Flipcards will be used as the official score.
Libero – The Libero will be used and must have a unique uniform.
Substitutions – There will be no limit on substitutions.
Warm-ups – The team that was not playing will have 10 minutes warm-up between matches.
Registration Fees
Team registration Fees will be $160 if received before June 1st. This means that it is less than $20/team per match. Late or as room allows registration will be $190. We ask that this be in one check and be accompanied with a completed Team Registration Form. Upon receiving your Registration form your captains will be notified of your acceptance and a schedule and Waiver form will be sent out one week before the Summer League begins.
