The Glow Your Own Way event will be a combination of virtual (5/10k) and in-person (.5k) races to raise funds for HUB Sports Center’s outreach programs.
Whether you are a serious jogger, fun runner or community supporter, we have an activity for you as part of the HUB GLOW YOUR OWN WAY event. Head out on your own journey for a 5K or 10K run and log your kilometers through the app. You pick your own course. Or bring the family out to the HUB for a .5k fun run around the building in your glow gear on April 24th.
Glow Your Own Way 5/10K Virtual Run. Runners can set their own course and pick between a 5k and 10k run. You will track and upload your run to Negative Split to see how your race compared with other participants. You need to complete your run between April 23 and May 2. This could be a wonderful precursor and/or warm-up to Bloomsday. Click Here to Register for the 5 or 10K Run. Participants earn a medal and swag bag of goodies. Glow Your Own Way .5k Fun Run. This will be an in-person run at the HUB Sports Center on Saturday, April 24th in the evening. We encourage you to wear your favorite glowing apparel for the evening run around the building. We will have aid stations strategically located throughout the course for this grueling .5k lap around the HUB. Click Here to Register for the .5k Fun Run. Participants receive a t-shirt and some goodies in their race packet. You will sign up for a race start time as we will have groups enter the course in waves to help with our spacing and controlling the number of people on the course at one time.
