You have the opportunity to ensure the HUB Sports Center remains an essential and important part of our community. The HUB Sports Center Board of Directors invites you to support our capital campaign to purchase the building. This campaign will ensure the HUB remains a safe place for youth of this region for generations to come. A place to learn life lessons, skills and to build the work ethic that creates a solid foundation towards becoming a promising community member.
The programs and services the HUB Sports Center provides are an asset to the community that, if lost, will be felt by schools, students, athletes, sports organizations, and local businesses. With your help, we can make the HUB the champion of sports facilities. We invite you to join the team and secure a win for the youth and community we serve and create a legacy for generations to come!
The campaign is for $3.9 million. $3.2 million is to purchase the facility, all the assets inside and the 8.5 acres we currently occupy. The other $700 thousand will go toward an operating reserve fund to provide the HUB funding to continue to move forward with our current and new outreach initiatives. The $3.2 million is due by the end of 2017. The $3.2 million will be paid to the Inland Northwest Community Foundation and into a benevolent fund which will be reallocated back into the community for the benefit of youth. (So your contributions to this campaign will have a twofold impact!) Options are available for naming opportunities within the facility (courts, studios, etc.). You can find more information about the campaign below. We would enjoy meeting with you and discussing any questions you may have about the campaign.
The IRS has designated the HUB Sports Center as a 501c3 nonprofit company (26-0173199). Donations to the HUB are tax deductible. The HUB Sports Center has operated with a positive cash flow annually since October 2010.

Our Facility – Watch Video
The HUB Sports Center is a 66,500 sq. ft. multi-use sports facility that contains five regulation basketball courts, two aerobic studios and open workout space. It is the 3rd largest indoor sports venue in the greater Spokane area behind the Spokane Arena and the McCarthey Center. We host community classes, youth sports practices, tournaments and leagues for the YMCA, Spokane AAU, Evergreen Region Volleyball, Special Olympics, PNQ Volleyball, USA Boxing, Badminton, Spokane Regional Sports Commission and many others.
This facility benefits the entire Spokane and Coeur d’Alene region. More than 175,000 people visit the HUB each year. (Our 1 millionth visitor came through the doors in November 2015.) Youth, adults and seniors from all over the area come and participate in activities at the HUB Sports Center. Regional, national and international events and activities at the HUB Sports Center generate over $6 million in economic impact to our region’s economy. Local outreach programs (i.e. HUB 360) benefit at-risk youth in our community.
