CHANGES TO POWER LEAGUE FOR 2024 SEASON
The ERVA Junior Committee has decided on the following changes for Power League.
- Final Date in April will NOT be combined with INK. The final Power League date will be on the SAME DATE but remain a separate event.
- Expand the field to 24 OR 32 teams based on registration numbers.
- Any teams who do not meet the maximum field size will still participate in the qualifier date but be placed into the alternate tournaments as previously done.
- National Qualifier Exemption Policy
- Teams who wish to participate in a USAV National Qualifier Tournament on the same scheduled date as an ERVA Power League Event will be allowed to miss without penalty. Teams may only use this exemption ONCE per season. The ERVA office MUST be notified of participation in the National Qualifier Tournament no later than 30 days prior to the start date of the National Qualifier Event.
- These teams finish at the lowest position in their division and are moved down in the following Power League date, if applicable.
- National Qualifier Exemption Refund Policy:
- If ERVA Office is notified no later than 30 days prior to the National Qualifier start date AND team fulfills National Qualifier participation, the ERVA office will refund the single day Power League entry fee upon completion of National Qualifier participation.

This league is designed to be more competitive than the YMCA recreational league, yet still provides a positive experience for all. Coaches register their team, schedule their own practices and teams provide their own uniforms. Teams will play 8 games during the season (unless forces out of our control occur) and end in a seeded, single elimination tournament. Regular season games are played on Wednesdays at the HUB. Tournament games can be played on Mon/Wed.
