Homeschool Physical Education

Head to the HUB Sports Center for some fun filled physical education time! The HUB Staff will direct play and games for the youth 4-15 years old.

This program is designed with the Homeschooler in mind! Students ages 4-15 will have the opportunity to interact with other children their age in a fun, friendly, and active environment. During a semester, your child will focus on different motor skills while learning different sports and games. They will learn proper techniques and game rules that will help them in their development.

Must be pre-registered.

Cost: Daily option: $6/child for first 2 children (additional children $4/each). Semester option: $35/child for first 2 children (additional children $21/child). Dates are non-transferable.

When: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 10:30-11:30am. You are welcome to bring your lunch and eat in the lobby from 11:30-12:30pm (gyms and STEM activity open during this time for play supervised by parent/guardian).

Mr. Himebaugh has more that 28 years of experience in Taekwondo, Hapkido, Judo, & Kenpo Karate.

He is a 3rd Degree Kukkiwon Certified Black Belt in Taekwondo.

Mr. Himebaugh has been instructing Taekwondo for 15 years. He has taught hundreds of students and lead more than 10 students to achieve the level of 1st Dan Black Belt and beyond.

He brings with him an enthusiasm to teach and continue to mentor youth and adults in the art of Taekwondo.

Welcome to a fun evening of volleyball!

This double elimination tournament will be a fun way to help raise money for an amazing group of kids and an amazing school, Spokane Valley Adventist School. The money will help pay for all after school activities, field trips and hot lunches for all the students. We thank you in advance for playing. If you would like to just make a donation please message me and I will send you a link for the fundraiser.

Tournament details:
This tournament is going to be a double elimination with no pool play. It will be a random draw bracket for each level. Word on the street is this is the kind of tournament the community is asking for!
Indoor USA Volleyball Rules Apply.
Loser bracket games will be to 25.

Teams of 6 players 3 guys and 3 girls.
Cost: $35 per player
The cost includes Pizza, Gatorade, Water and Pop!

They will send out an email to the captain with an invoice with different ways to pay. (Cash, Check, Venmo, Credit Card.) This will keep the tournament start time on time.

1st place in each level will get a Grand Prize SURPRISE!

Superheroes vs. Villains Pickleball Tournament

Join in for the 4th Annual Superheroes vs. Villains Pickleball Tournament.  Saturday, October 20th.  Superhero or Villain attire required.

This will be a men’s/women’s doubles tournament. Sign up as a team.

$45/person to enter and registration ends October 8th.

Proceeds to Benefit Spokane Shriner’s Hospital.

Students will learn and perform the basics, forms, and self-defense techniques required for yellow belt.

Boys & Girls Ages 8-12 years old.

At the end of the class, students should be able to perform 10 self-defense techniques, one short kata and execute basic blocks, punches and kicks.

$40/month

Classes meet from 5:30-6:15pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
$10 fee for supplies.

Kenpo Karate – Adults
Oct 22 @ 6:15 pm – 7:00 pm

Adults

$50/month

Our children’s Taekwondo program is geared towards the development of discipline and self-esteem. As they progress we will focus on leadership qualities and skills as well. Our unique program strives to teach children skills that prepare them for life, as well as self-defense techniques enabling the child to defend him/herself when the need arises.

Classes tuition: $45/month (once per week) or $80/month (twice per week)

*Uniforms (dobak) are not included in tuition costs.
